We’ll be joined by Jacqueline Kohl-Hamilton, professor of English at Eastern Kentucky University, who will be sharing the stories of several Holocaust survivors who made their homes in Kentucky. We’ll learn their stories–before and after the War–and the impact that these individuals had on our communities! You won’t want to miss this opportunity to honor and remember these survivors and their lasting influence on our state!
Join us at the Bob Kirby Branch for a presentation by National Thumbpickers Hall of Fame inductee and executive director of the National Thumbpickers Hall of Fame organization, Joe Hudson and Nancy Richey, Associate Professor at WKU and member of the Kentucky Humanities Council and co-author of the book Mose Rager: Kentucky’s Incomparable Guitar Master.
