The Friends of the Library Warren County (aka FOL) works all year long to gather and organize books, LPS, CDs, DVDs, puzzles and games to sell at its annual fund-raising event. While the vast majority of items sold are used books, the four-day event is still called a “Used Book Sale” for simplicity’s sake, but we love that they collect and resell so many types of donated media!

The sale will take place at the Bob Kirby Branch located at 175 Iron Skillet Court, and the hours are as follows:

  • Thursday, September 12: 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. (Friends-only Preview Night)
    • Current FOL members may attend this preview sale. Not a member or need to renew your membership? Sign up or renew on site! Print a membership form or fill one out when you arrive.
  • Friday, September 13: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Saturday, September 14: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Sunday, September 15: 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. (Bag Day)

Whether you’re shopping for yourself or family members, there’s something for everyone, from board books for babies and picture and chapter books for children; novels and non-fiction for teens and adults; to music, movies, puzzles, and games for all. The sale has many items to choose from!

This fundraiser is one of the FOL’s major events of the year, and the money raised helps them fund library purchases that provide services, programs, and resources we would be unable to afford without the support. We sincerely appreciate their work and dedication and hope you are able to attend!
