Baseball Book Recs from Casey

Former MLB commissioner Bart Giamatti once wrote that baseball “breaks your heart.  It is designed to break your heart. The game begins in spring, when everything else begins again, and it blossoms in the summer, filling the afternoons and evenings, and then as soon as the chill  rains come, it stops and leaves you to face the fall alone.”  This year the heartbreak for baseball fans has a different feel as it remains unclear if the season will be played even in an abbreviated manner.  If you are missing the game that Walt Whitman described as glorious, check out these following titles from Hoopla.
