Alexis Erskine

Alexis Erskine’s art is playful, whimsical, surreal, and inspired by vibrant colors & the joy of discovery. As a child, her nana encouraged and facilitated opportunities for Alexis to create, thus shaping her path as a self-taught artist.

As an artist, Alexis aims to convey joy, play, and wonder through her art. As an avid advocate for play, she aims to create & facilitate communal art opportunities. One of her favorite  personal pieces, “The Communing Tree,” was created collaboratively with friends to represent their shared creative space. For the local Duncan Hines Days Beats & Eats Music Fest, she was the lead artist for a large-scale community mural project.

She wants viewers and participants to feel curious, full of wonder, and connected to themselves and their communities. Her influences include APA Style, 60s Mod Art, 60/ 70s Psychedelic art,  old Hanna Barbera cartoons, and 90s/00s children’s cartoons. Alexis sells her work at Paradise Point Marketplace and various markets; her art can be found on Instagram.

Outside of art, Alexis enjoys playing with her pets, LEGO, Animal Crossing, camping, and general tomfoolery. Fun fact: she speaks Mandarin Chinese.

Shane Gerow

Shane Gerow is a graffiti based mural artist living in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The roots of his career as a “street artist” stem from my home town of Rochester, New York. In his younger adolescent years, he started off experimenting with photography, capturing photos of old abandoned buildings and run down parts of the city. After being exposed to many types of street art, he was inspired to pick up a can and see what he could do with it myself. 8 years later, with countless stories, experiences good and bad, he is very grateful to be where he is in his path as an artist today.

Andee Rudloff

Andee Rudloff is a consultant and artist working predominantly in Kentucky and Tennessee. She recently helped successfully launch the Southern Kentucky Performing Arts Center (SKyPAC) in Bowling Green, KY, working in engagement, education and visual arts. In November 2013, she was awarded KyAEA Museum Educator of the Year while also being reappointed to serve on the Kentucky Arts Council Board of Directors by Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear. Rudloff served in multiple roles at the Frist Center for the Visual Arts in Nashville, TN, while continuing a career as a professional visual artist and community engagement consultant. She also served as the curator of the Nashville International Airport’s Arts at the Airport Foundation, where she designed and curated new exhibitions and exhibition spaces while maintaining the airport’s art collection.

Additionally, Rudloff has worked with notable artists such as Judy Chicago, Michael Aurbach, Don Evans, John Warren Oakes, Ed Nash, Herb Williams and many others. Rudloff has served as the Curator of the Johnny Cash Collection, Tour Coordinator of the At Home On Tour traveling exhibition and an educator in Kentucky’s juvenile justice system. Rudloff believes art education is an important component to the economic growth of an area and works to cultivate art experiences within her own region. Holding true to the belief we should never take a second for granted, one rarely sees Rudloff standing still, but always in constant motion.

Andee has more than 20 years of experience as a professional artist including exhibitions in Bowling Green, KY, Nashville, TN, New York, NY, Taipei, Taiwan, and other national and international exchanges.
