ILL Request Form

Library card holders may request items not in WCPL’s collection by filling out the request form on this page.

Patrons may have 8 active requests at a time.

Delivery time cannot be guaranteed. Requests usually take an average of two weeks to arrive but may take longer.

The loan period for Interlibrary Loan (ILL) materials is two weeks. For an extension, fill out the form at the bottom of this page.

When the item is available for pickup, you will receive a hold notification by either phone or email, depending on the notification type you selected in your library account.

For additional information, contact Emily at 270-781-4882, extension 111, or email emilyc@warrenpl.org.

NOTE: New releases, best-sellers, reference books, genealogy books, and rare books are generally not available.

Renewing a Request

Interlibrary Loan renewal requests are made online and are granted at the discretion of the lending library. It may take a few days for the lending library to reply to the renewal request.

Most libraries will grant a 2 week extension. If the renewal is denied, the ILL librarian will notify you by phone or email to return the material. If you are not contacted, you may keep the item for two additional weeks beyond the original due date.

If you want the most up-to-date information on your current due dates, please check your online account or call your preferred library branch.
