Let’s Read: Svetlana Chmakova

Join Let’s Read, an exciting series at the historic Capitol that connects kids with their favorite authors! Throughout the school year, students can enjoy interactive author talks and meet-and-greets, uncovering the magic behind beloved stories. Dive into a year of inspiration and adventure, fostering a lifelong love of reading and creativity. This series is free and open to the public as well as school day field trips!

Svetlana Chmakova is our Let’s Read author for the month of February! Svetlana is an internationally published, award-winning manga author, with more than a dozen published books and her work translated into over 13 languages. Some of her works include; “The Weirn Books” series, “Enemies,” and “Awkward.”
