This season’s offering of author events are ones you won’t want to miss! In addition to the Let’s Read author, Alicia Salazar, on October 1, here’s what’s happening the rest of the month:

Monday, October 14, 7 p.m. @ The Capitol – Meet award-winning and bestselling authors Ruta Sepetys and Steve Sheinkin, the team who collaborated to write The Bletchley Riddle, a stunning middle grade novel about codebreakers in World War II. 300 books will be given away at this event! Wednesday, October 23, 3:30 Writing Workshop; and 6 p.m. presentation @ Bob Kirby Branch – Learn at the feet of Victoria Christopher Murray, an talented, experienced, best-selling author at a 2-hour writing workshop. Murray is the New York Times and USA Today best selling author of more than 30 novels, including the New York Times Instant Best Sellers, The Personal Librarian and The First Ladies. Sunday, October 27, 3 p.m.@ Bob Kirby Branch – Meet Cinda Williams Chima who will be in conversation with fellow authors Jeff Zentner and Mindy McGinnis. Chima is the New York Times best-selling author of the Seven Realms, Heir Chronicles, and Shattered Realms teen fantasy series. Her newest duology, The Runestone Saga, launched in 2022 with Children of Ragnarok, followed by Bane of Asgard, which was published just this month. Free tickets HERE.
