(Rated PG, 1975) Variation on "American Graffiti," focusing on black teens in a 1960s Chicago neighborhood as they prepare to leave high school and enter the real world. A vintage Motown soundtrack is included. The screenplay was written by Eric Monte, who also charted similar grounds in the TV sitcom "What's Happening!"
The group is open to all teens ages 12-17 interested in acting and will meet weekly on Wednesdays, January 15 - March 5 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The program culminates with a showcase on Thursday, March 6, at 6 p.m. Register here!
