Notary Service

WCPL provides basic notary services free of charge to the public at most library locations.

• Document signers are identified using methods authorized by Kentucky statutes (typically a non-expired drivers license, state or government ID).  
• Documents to be notarized must be in English (or in another language understood by the notary); translators may not assist.

While we make every effort to work with those needing the service, notaries reserve the right to decline service if the document(s), identification or circumstances of the request raise any issue of authenticity, ambiguity or doubt.
