Join Let’s Read, an exciting series at the historic Capitol that connects kids with their favorite authors! Throughout the school year, students can enjoy interactive author talks and meet-and-greets, uncovering the magic behind beloved stories. Dive into a year of inspiration and adventure, fostering a lifelong love of reading and creativity. This series is free and open to the public as well as school day field trips!
Mexican American children’s book author Alicia Salazar is our Let’s Read author for the month of October! She is the author of the Camila children’s book series, and is a former elementary school teacher and marine biologist!
