WCPL is very passionate about local farmers, artists, and crafters, and helping them extend their reach to our local community.  We host several markets throughout the year, two one-day events (with a small fee or no fee to our vendors), as well as a Summer Reading Farmers Market series, which takes place every Saturday during the months of June and July. See below for details.

Hours: 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Location: SOKY Center Pavillion (636 Center Street)

Parking: Free parking at Stadium Park Plaza parking garage

Shoppers will discover unique, locally made goods at this Easter/spring-themed Locally Made Market under the pavillion at SOKY Center! Talented makers, artisans, crafters, and authors will showcase one-of-a-kind handmade or handwritten treasures. Shopper will also enjoy spring-themed activities for all ages, including a visit from the Easter bunny, an egg hunt, and musical presentations by WKU theater department! Join us at SOKY Center for a vibrant, community-driven shopping experience!

Summer Reading Farmers Market Details

This weekly Saturday market is for local farmers/growers, crafters/artisans, and food trucks. All products sold must be made/created/authored by you or your small business. You must provide your own unique products to sell. Items sold should be library and family friendly. (If you have specific questions about this, reach out to leas@warrenpl.org.)

  • Location: @ SOKY Center (link to page)
  • Dates: Every Saturday in June and July (minus July 4) and August 1; 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. 
  • Applications: Now open for farmers & growers (homegrown items) and makers & crafters.
  • NOTE: Applications will open soon food trucks.

The Summer Reading Market is more than a farmers market—it’s a celebration of community, healthy living, and the joy of reading. Hosted under the SOKY Pavilion during the warmer months, the market brings together local growers, makers, and library programming in one lively, family-friendly space. During June and July, folks can shop fresh produce, discovered local goods, and enjoy pop-up storytimes, free activities, and special events designed to keep all ages reading and thriving all summer long.
