Memory Café  is a social gathering for folks living with various forms of dementia and their friends, family, or caregivers; all are welcome! At 11 a.m. on the first Tuesday of each month, participants will enjoy activities ranging from music and art to puzzles and bingo, plus occasional special guest appearances. November’s Café will kickstart a multi-day Proactive Aging Series hosted by by Timesavers Caregiving & Concierge. Check out all the details below:

  • November’s Fall Proactive Aging Series
    • November 5, 11 a.m.: Café speaker to be announced.
    • November 6, 2 p.m.: HOW TO PREPARE FOR THE HIGH COST OF GETTING OLDER – A session by KY Elder Law’s John Dotson on preparing for the future and the costs that come with aging.
    • November 7, 2 p.m.: COPING WITH SEASONAL DEPRESSION – Senior Perspectives provides counseling for older adults. Learn more about mental health resources for seniors.
  • December 3, 11 a.m. Sip and Paint: Paint a winter scene while sipping hot cocoa and listening to holiday music! All supplies will be provided.

Whether you have been living with the effects of aging or dealing with dementia for some time, or you’re just starting to wonder about how to cope, these gatherings are for you.
