Celebrate summer with eight SATURDAYS of fresh food, family fun, and community connections!

Saturdays in June & July

Every weekend, the SOKY Center pavilion (formerly SoKY Marketplace) will come alive on Saturdays between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. with food trucks, produce and craft vendors, occasional live music, plus exciting activities for kids.

Visit 636 Center Street this summer to browse, shop, and play!

June 7: Opening Day!

  • Storytime at 10:30 a.m.
  • Live music by Willie Huston 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
  • Drop-in nature inspired art class with Flora Nye
  • Inflables & other kids activities

June 14

  • Castle & Quest Party activities (listed below) PLUS live music by Hugh Trimble 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

June 21

  • Storytime with a farmer at 10:30 a.m.
  • Bowling Green Fire Department “touch a truck”
  • Quill writing class hosted by Kentucky Historical Society.  Register here.

Saturday, June 14, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.: Castle & Quest Party at the Market
Join us for a merry day of medieval merriment! Step back in time to a world of knights, castles, and grand festivities, including jousting, a petting zoo, crafts, and a free watercolor class for young lords and ladies! 

Saturday, June 28, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.: Carnival Party at the Market
Join us for a day of carnival thrills and family fun! Enjoy a festive atmosphere filled with games, excitement, and hands-on activities, including a dunking booth, a petting zoo, Skee-Ball, an aerial swing, and classic carnival games for all ages!

July 5

  • LEGO play area hosted by Bricks & Minifigs
  • Drone demonstrations by the Warren Co. Sheriff
  • Inflatables & other kids activities

July 12

  • Dino Dig Party activities (see below) PLUS art class with Kate Latham 10 a.m. to noon

Saturday, July 12, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.: Dino Dig Party at the Market
Join us for a prehistoric adventure millions of years in the making! Experience a dino-filled day of thrills, hands-on fun, and larger-than-life creatures, including the Feller Express Dino Show at 12 noon, a petting zoo, Boris the dinosaur, and a dino dig experience!

Saturday, July 26,  10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Summer Reading Finale at the Market
Join us for an outdoor adventure celebrating nature and the great outdoors! Enjoy a day of wildlife, water fun, and hands-on exploration, including a visit from Smokey Bear, a forestry pump truck where kids can cool off as they get sprayed with water, a petting zoo, and an immersive Hundred Acre Woods walk-through experience inside the building!
