Hosted by WCPL and Warren County Parks & Recreation:
FREE & fun for the entire family!

Please note: These summer camps are designed for kids accompanied by parents, guardians, or caregivers!
Please register at least one adult with your group.

Castle & Quest Camp

Hear ye, hear ye! Calling all knights, rogues, jesters, and all good folk of the realm for a week of adventures, tales, & perilous beasts.

Dates: June 9-12 & 14
Times: 12 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. (M-Th), 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. (Sat)
Target age range: elementary school age

  • Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday will take place at Buchanon Park Gym (9222 Nashville Rd.).
  • Tuesday will be a movie at The Capitol (416 E Main).
  • Saturday’s finale party will be at the SOKY Center (636 Center St.). 

Registration groups must include 1 adult for up to 10 kids. Register under the name of the adult who will be attending, then add additional campers.

Carnival Camp

Come one, come all – to the greatest camp on earth! Enjoy a week of carnival games, balloon-twisting, circus-themed crafts…and a dunking booth!

Dates: June 23-26 & 28
Times: 12 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. (M-Th), 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. (Sat)
Target age range: elementary school age

Dino Dig Camp

This week is all about paleontology and will include informational sessions, dino crafts, and a fossil dig!

Dates: July 7-10 & 12
Times: 12 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. each day
Suggested age range: Elementary

National Park Camp

Get inspired to visit North America’s national parks with fun games, interactive activities, and special guests, including a sled dog!

Dates: July 21-24 & 26
Times: 12 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. each day

Teen Theatre Monologue Workshop Showcase

Join us as we learn about the auditioning process for community and professional theatre at this theatre intensive! The monologue workshop is designed to give a teen the skills to nail that read! In this week-long intensive we will learn: what to expect from an audition, how to make a resume, what makes a good monologue, how to perform one, and other lessons to take out into the world!

This camp will meet on the Capitol stage daily. On Friday, June 13 we will leave at 11:30 a.m. and return at 4:30 p.m. for our showcase performance at 5:30 p.m.

We are so excited to welcome our 5-12 year olds back to the Capitol stage for a weeklong camp co-directed by Magnolia Gramling and Vivian Ellis. Participants will learn the basics of theatrical voice, movement, and character development as well as cultivate lifelong skills such as learning to work as a team and public speaking with confidence. More than anything, we hope this camp will be filled with fun and friendship!

Camp will meet on the Capitol stage daily. On Friday, July 18, we will leave at 11:30 a.m. and return at 4:30 p.m. for a showcase of our work at 5:30 p.m.
