The library’s Summer Reading Program provides many exciting opportunities, and we don’t want you to miss ANY of it! The 10-week program officially begins Monday, May 19, and runs through Friday, August 1.

The kick-off this year will be held at Ephram White Park ( 885 Mount Olivet Rd.) Thursday, June 5, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Register HERE for that, and enjoy the Camping Adventure Party, featuring presentations at 10 and 11 a.m. by the Science Guys, plus roaming dinosaurs, a foam party, Winnie the Pooh & Tigger, an animal petting zoo, large truck petting zoo, and activities at community vendor booths!

1. Reading & Activity Incentive Challenge: Grab a log at any library location to participate or log your progress online (warrenpl.org/summer). Complete activities by August 1 to win cool prizes and an entry into the grand prize drawing!

2. Special Programs for ALL Ages – onsite and offsite, inside and outside: Pick up a calendar at any library location or visit warrenpl.org/calendar to browse a complete list and register for those you plan to attend!\

3. Weekend FUN at SOKY Center’s Summer Reading Farmers Market, every Saturday in June and July: in addition to produce and product vendors, we will host a variety of kids activities between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the pavilion (formerly SoKY Marketplace) at 636 Center St. Check out https://warrenpl.org/summer-reading-farmers-market for all the details! 

4. Free MOVIES at the Capitol: Join us for family movies every Tuesday at 12:30 p.m., and enjoy movies at other times all summer long! See the complete schedule at capitolbg.org!
