Library Locations
The library has a number of locations across town and in the county, providing the community access to books, DVDs, audiobooks, music CDs, and magazines. Printing, wifi access, and computers are also available. Coin-op photocopiers, free faxing, and free notary services are provided at most locations. Call ahead to inquire, knowing there will always be a friendly librarian at the other end of the line, ready to answer any question you might have.

The hub of the public library system, this building has the largest footprint. It is in close proximity to the Western Kentucky University campus and a few blocks from the historic downtown square. With two floors, it houses the largest collection of materials. It also houses a Passport Center.

Located near Greenwood High School, just a couple of lights down from the I-65 interchange, this is the system’s largest branch, and it hosts the largest meeting room spaces. The one-level building, featuring a spacious children’s section and a unique makerspace (aka “The Idea Lab”), expands access into the southern Warren County area.

Located in the community of Smiths Grove in northern Warren County, this smaller branch provides full library services. It features a treehouse in the children’s section and a beautiful sculpture of birds in flight in the atrium adjacent to the computer area.

Located in the Warren County Tennis and Sports Facility at Buchanon Park, this satellite location has a smaller collection but full range of library materials, wifi access, and laptops available for use in house.

Located in HOTEL INC’s headquarters adjacent to the Delafield Co-Op Market, this satellite houses a small collection of library materials and provides wifi access and laptops for use in house.

The Capitol
The Capitol
Located on Main Street near Fountain Square in historic downtown Bowling Green, this two-story theater provides an auditorium for library use as well as serves as a community venue for artists and actors. A small collection of library materials is located off the lobby. A used book store, Capitol Books, is located on the first floor, run by the Friends of the Library.

This satellite library is located in the International Center’s second building, in the same facility that houses the Dr. Catherine Ward Center for New Americans.

Additional Satellite Locations
The library houses several offsite satellite locations in conjunction with other community organizations, including those at the Foundry, Parker Bennett Community Center, and Lifeworks. While those sites are closed to the general public, they provide valuable library services to those populations during limited hours.
