The library is excited to partner again with Warren County Parks and Recreation to host four themed THRIVE Family Camps this summer. The camps are geared for elementary ages plus at least one adult member of their family. Activities will take place in the early afternoons, from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. All groups will meet on Tuesdays at the Capitol, where campers will be treated to a camp-themed movie.

  • Galaxy Family Camp: week of June 10 (Buchanon Park)
    • This interstellar camp will feature galactic games, hands-on activities, a planetarium light show, and a visit from a very special sci-fi guest.
  • STEM Family Camp: week of June 24 (Phil Moore Park)
    • Kids will enjoy a host of interactive activities all about cars.
  • Nature Family Camp: week of July 8 (Buchanon Park)
