Summer Programs Highlight
Create A Coral Wreath: Watercolor & Mixed Media Class @ Bob Kirby
Thursdays: 2 P.M. – 3 P.M. | June 23 & June 30
This class will take place in a two part series. Participants will create a coral wreath using water color and mixed media techniques. For ages 12 and up!
Future Healthcare Professionals @ the Main Library
July 11th-21st | 10 A.M. to 12 P.M.
FHP is a health career exploration program open to high school students in the area. The Summer 2022 FHP program will be held in-person. Throughout the program, students will explore different areas of the healthcare field through hands on activities and meeting with guest speakers.
Space is limited. Registration is required for this program.
Survival Island @ Bob Kirby
Monday, June 27th at 6 P.M.
Can you survive a deserted island? Test your skills at problem solving and team building at this not-at-all-dangerous event! For ages 10 and up!

Ocean Pottery @ Bob Kirby
Monday, July 18th at 6 P.M.
Create your own ceramic sea creature! This event will teach you how to work creatively with clay as we celebrate the library’s summer reading theme: Oceans! You will create and paint your piece on site, and pick it up at a later date once it is fired in our kiln. Registration is required for this event.

Virtual Book Clubs

A Teen Advisory Board is a group of teens that are
passionate about cultivating and improving library services for teens.

Volunteer
Volunteering can be a satisfying way to invest your time and energy. During the summer, many teen volunteers help the Youth Services staff with our Summer Celebration programs, library events and other project-based tasks.
