Future Healthcare Professionals

The FHP program, a health career exploration program. Throughout the program, students will explore different areas of the health field through experimentation, hands on activities, and guest speakers.

Environmental Health Program

The Summer Environmental Health Program in partnership with the Center for Integrative Environmental Health Sciences of University of Louisville is a four-week, virtual program designed for students interested in researching, collaborating, and learning more about their environment and its impacts upon health. This year, the program will take place twice weekly (Mondays and Thursdays from 2pm-3pm CST) from June 1st to June 25th, via Zoom.

Students will be provided with a kit of materials to use during the program.



Young Leaders in Industry

YLI is an 8 week series that presents multidisciplinary topics including architectural design, engineering, drafting, constructions basics, and more.

Participants will be able to interact with real professionals in the field form heads of large operations to engineers that have maintained government security.

Teen Advisory Board

Teen Advisory Board is a group of teens that are
passionate about cultivating and improving library services for teens.

Volunteering can be a satisfying way to invest your time and energy. During the summer, many teen volunteers help the Youth Services staff with our Summer Celebration programs, library events and other project-based tasks.
