Due to demand, please select only one STEM camp. If you would like your child to attend multiple weeks,

SUMMER CAMPS 2018

CAMP FAQ

  • Warren County Public Library is introducing new camps this summer including a Coding, Theatre and Art camp!
  • Art Camp will take place at the Bob Kirby Branch from 9 a.m. to noon.  If you are registered for this camp, please bring a drawing pad and pencils.
  • STEM Camps (including Coding Camp) held at the Bob Kirby Branch and the Main Library run from 9 a.m. to noon, Monday through Friday.
  • The Smiths Grove STEM camp runs 9 a.m to noon on July 5th.
  • The Graham Drive STEM camp runs noon to 3 p.m. on July 6th.
  • Bottled water will be provided to STEM camp participants, but a snack will not. If your child would like to bring a snack, we have refrigerators on site that can be used.
  • If other accommodations are needed (such as medication) for STEM Camps ONLY please email Matt at [email protected] so that proper arrangements can be made.

Advanced STEM Camp

June 11th — June 15th (FULL)

Once the camp is full, please contact any library location to be put on the wait list.

Advanced STEM Camp will take place at the Bob Kirby Branch and is open to kids and teens ages 7-16 that have completed a previous summer STEM Camp. The activities will be similar to previous STEM Camps, but we will focus on slightly larger and more in-depth projects that will take longer to complete.

Coding Camp

June 18th — June 22nd (FULL)

Coding Camp will take place at the Bob Kirby Branch and will focus solely on coding and programming. We will learn how to code using conditional statements, variables, loops, iteration, debugging, etc. Campers will program robots, create games and animations, and we will use HTML to build a website! Ages 7-16.

Theatre Camp

Warren County Public Library is excited to announce its first Summer Theatre Camp offering at the Bob Kirby Branch! In partnership with BG OnStage, participants will learn the basics of acting, and work together to produce a stage production by the end of the week.

All participants are guaranteed a part in the play, but space in our camp is limited. After your application is submitted and reviewed you will be contacted by our Camp Coordinator with the status of your registration.

Participants must be 12 – 17 years of age. Participants are required to attend the camp every day.

Art Camp
