Leon Alligood was a newspaper journalist for 22 years. His specialty was writing award-winning profiles and narratives primarily based in rural counties. He holds an MFA in Creative Nonfiction from Goucher College and in 2017 was inducted into the Tennessee Journalism Hall of Fame.
Kathy Bingham Turner is a former corporate director of human resources for newspapers in five states.
